The Party of Justice and Reconciliation (SPP) said it had secured one seat in Serbia’s National Assembly following a repeat vote in Novi Pazar. Party leader Usame Zukorlić made the announcement on 2 November 2026. The claim reflected the party’s calculation at that stage, rather than the final formal validation of a parliamentary mandate.
The repeat vote and the allocation of seats
Voting was repeated at polling station 81 after a control sheet from the original 25 October ballot was lost while being transported to the municipal election commission. According to RTS, 1,838 people were eligible to vote at the station and 766 cast ballots in the repeat poll. The result mattered particularly to Bosniak minority lists because it could affect the distribution of seats.
SPP received approximately 0.28% of votes nationwide in the published election figures. Special provisions apply to the allocation of parliamentary seats for recognised national-minority lists, so the overall percentage does not by itself determine the outcome.
Zukorlić’s statement should not be confused with the final institutional decision allocating and validating mandates. For further context, see our report on the overall results (in Serbian).
