Novi Sad’s Betanija maternity hospital reports 19 births in 24 hours

Six girls and 13 boys were born at Betanija between 7am on 3 November and 7am on 4 November 2026. The figures cover that single 24-hour period.

Nineteen deliveries took place at Novi Sad’s Betanija maternity hospital between 7am on Tuesday, 3 November, and 7am on Wednesday, 4 November 2026. Local outlet 021.rs reported the birth of six girls and 13 boys.

Understanding the figures

The numbers refer only to that 24-hour period, not the whole month or all births across Vojvodina. A single daily report cannot establish an annual birth-rate trend; that requires longer-term official statistics.

The newsroom congratulates the families. Parents and newborns are not identified without their consent.
